How My Digital Footpring Will Affect My Future

In Abbas' Video a common thing he mentioned was how if your parents were on your facebook, Twitter, or any other social websites, you would not post or say anything you would not want them to see. This stood out to me because it is very true and that should always be on someones mind when they post a picture or a status, Just as Abbas said, colleges look up your facebook to see what kind of person you are and just how responsible you are.

Think before you post!

When Abbas says, "I feel like nothing brings me down" in the video, he was talking about social websites. If colleges were to investigate his facebook or twitter that there would not be anything on there that would make him seem immature or someone they might not want at their college. There's nothing on his social websites that would express irresponsibility.

People should not always be judged for something they post on the Internet because that does not necessarily mean that they are always like that in person. For example, if somebody posted statuses that always come off very rude and immature and then you talk to them in person and they are very quiet and sweet. People do not always act the same on the Internet as they do in person.
